The 2018 AGO Anthem Anthology is a joint project between the American Guild of Organists, Grammy Award winning conductor Charles Bruffy, and MusicSpoke. Charles Bruffy selected sixteen composers (eight female and eight male) that represent a diverse spectrum of the musical practices taking place in churches across the country. The anthem anthology includes a range of music from simple pieces for two-part choir to more complex unaccompanied works. There are works for choir and organ, choir and piano, pieces that are traditional as well as music influenced by gospel and jazz traditions.
